Highlights

We've been in business on our own for six years now, and have been lucky enough to train and run nine different stake horses. We've also sent out fourteen stake horses (that we know of) to other trainers around the country. This number is probably low because of the large volume of horses we’ve sent out; it’s hard to keep track of them all.

We've had the opportunity to break and train several really nice horses but it's hard to say which horses were the best. Our horses have taken us along for many great rides. Some of our most memorable experiences include:

  • Running first and second in a West Virginia Breeders classic race, with the horses Fancy Dan and Eagle Speed.
  • Winning the tri-state futurity.
  • Earning over $100,000 with two juvenile colts in the same year.
  • Running in the Blue Mountain Juvenile.
  • Running in the Claiming crown at Canterbury Park.
  • Winning the Ernest Benner Stake.
  • Winning the Rachel's Turn Stake.
  • Running in the Oliver's Twist Stake.
  • Running in the West Virginia Derby.
